Deadline for LaunchTown Competition Approaching
The LaunchTown competition for college students has been reimagined. The LaunchTown EXP Competition will challenge students in all majors to present their best idea for a new technology-based business, product or service that addresses a significant market need.
Applications for LaunchTown EXP are being accepted in three categories: the capstone LaunchTown Soar competition, which focuses on high-tech college student businesses; an early-stage competition called LaunchTown Liftoff, which targets new undergrad student teams; and the LaunchTown LaunchChef competition for food-based startups. LaunchTown EXP provides rigorous programming and mentorship by regional professional and university leaders to guide student teams in preparing for a professional level competition and ultimate launch.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 7. The finals will be Monday, April 15, at the Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation and Growth. The event is free and open to the public, but online registration is required.
