Early-stage entrepreneurs across Northeast Ohio have a new opportunity to access small but meaningful sources of capital to help move their ventures forward.
Burton D. Morgan Foundation has expanded the Morgan Startup Grants program through partnerships with TRI-C Center for Entrepreneurs and Hebrew Free Loan Association. Beginning March 16, qualifying small businesses in the region can apply for grants through March 27.
Morgan Startup Grants are small catalytic grants designed to support early-stage businesses as they test ideas, strengthen operations, and take the next steps toward growth.
This expansion is designed to reach entrepreneurs who are not connected to one of the Foundation’s existing Morgan Startup Grant partner programs. By working with community-based partners, the the foundation aims to make this funding opportunity accessible to a broader group of entrepreneurs across the region.
Eligible applicants are Northeast Ohio businesses generating under $100,000 in annual revenue with at least one employee (including the founder). Typical grant awards are around $1,500.
Entrepreneurs interested in applying can learn more and access the application through the Morgan Startup Grants webpage.
The Morgan Startup Grants program reflects Burton D. Morgan Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening free enterprise by supporting entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their journey.
