Keith A. Brown
Keith A. Brown graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. He spent one year with National City Bank before joining Donn Corporation, a manufacturer of commercial interior building materials. In 1987, he founded Chimera Corporation as a holding company to facilitate the acquisition of low- to medium-technology businesses, as well as to develop real estate opportunities. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of USG Corporation, Chicago, Illinois, from 1993 to May 2008 and as a member of the Board of Directors of Myers Industries, Inc. from 1997 to 2011. Mr. Brown is a current member of the Board of Trustees, Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (since 2007). He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation since 1995.
J. Martin Erbaugh
J. Martin Erbaugh earned degrees from Denison University (B.A.) and Case Western Reserve University School of Law (J.D.). He served as Director of Legal Affairs at Kent State University and was a General Manager of the Davey Tree Expert Company from 1973 to 1978. He was Founder and CEO of Erbaugh Corp. (dba Lawnmark) from 1978 to1995. Today he is President of the JM Erbaugh Co., a private investment firm focusing on real estate development and service-oriented start-ups. He currently serves on the Board of Lorain National Bank, Newpoint Education Partners, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and Coer Properties LLC. Mr. Erbaugh is Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at Kent State University and is a Trustee of Denison University. From 1995 to 2007 he served on the Board of Lesco Inc. and was Chairman from 2002 to 2007. From 1990 to 2007, Mr. Erbaugh was a Founder, Board member, and later Chairman of Morgan Bank, NA. Mr. Erbaugh joined the Board of Trustees of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 1990.
Patrick T. Finley
Patrick T. Finley graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in finance. He is currently managing partner of OMNI Property Companies, a commercial real estate development and consulting firm. He has served as Chairman of the Cleveland Young Presidents Organization, was involved in the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, and is past president of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Currently, he is Vice Chairman of the Board of North Coast Community Homes and serves on the Cuyahoga County Library Foundation Board. He also volunteers for Junior Achievement in elementary school classrooms. Mr. Finley was elected a Trustee of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2012.
Stanley C. Gault
Stanley C. Gault graduated from The College of Wooster (B.A.) and has had three very distinguished business careers: Senior Vice President and Sector Executive of General Electric Company; Chairman and CEO of Rubbermaid Incorporated; and Chairman and CEO of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He was a Director and Chairman of the Board of Avon Products, Inc., and a Director of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., The Timken Company, International Paper Company, PPG Industries, Inc., and The New York Stock Exchange. He is a Director and Honorary Vice Chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of The College of Wooster. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Morgan Freeport Corporation. Mr. Gault has been a Trustee of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation since 1994.
J. Michael Hochschwender
J. Michael Hochschwender has more than 20 years of corporate management and consulting experience. Currently, he is President and CEO of The Smithers Group, a position he has held since 1996. Mr. Hochschwender holds a master’s degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University. He also served five years in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, deploying to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He is active in local health, civic and educational organizations, currently serving on the boards of the FirstMerit Bank N.A., Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, and The University of Akron Foundation. Previously Michael has served on the boards of the Akron General Medical Center, the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, Old Trail School, and The American Council of Independent Laboratories.
Mr. Hochschwender was elected a Trustee of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2012.
Mark D. Robeson
Mark D. Robeson graduated from Wittenberg University in 1993 with a B.A. in Business Administration-Finance. He went on to work for Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles. In 1996, he earned an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Mr. Robeson has focused his career on the financial services industry and has held positions with such leading companies as Citicorp, Barclays Global Investors, and Wells Fargo Bank. Today he is a Sales Director at Wells Capital Management in San Francisco. Mr. Robeson was elected a Trustee of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2001 and is a grandson of Burton D. Morgan.
Richard N. Seaman
Richard N. Seaman graduated magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University, from which he also earned an M.B.A. He joined Seaman Corporation in 1968 as Plant Manager and is now CEO and Chairman. He has chaired several industry organizations and, throughout his career, has been involved in community service. He is a member of the Business Advisory Council for Wooster City Schools, serving as chairman for 15 years. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The College of Wooster and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He was a member of the Board of Directors of FirstMerit Corp. from 1998 to 2010. Seaman Corporation was a recipient of the 2010 University of Akron Dean’s Excellence Award from the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering Department, as well as the 2010 Smart Business Evolution of Manufacturing Award. Mr. Seaman was elected a Trustee of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2000.
