Apply Now to Cleveland Chain Reaction
Applications are being accepted now through October 14 for the fifth season of the Cleveland Chain Reaction pitch competion, a project of the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) in collaboration with FOX 8’s “Kickin' it with Kenny” morning show. Applicants will compete for the opportunity to access capital investment and business promotion.
The goal of Cleveland Chain Reaction is to create jobs, investment and prosperity in Cleveland’s neighborhoods while providing education and information for entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to benefit our community. Since it's inception, the program has received more than 400 applications, coached and prepared 88 small business sem-finalists, connected winning businesses to nearly $1.7M in capital, and provided 380 hours of technical assistance.
Twenty semifinalists will be selected to participate in a business boot camp where experts and mentors will prepare them for their pitch. They will then pitch to a panels of judges In December during “Kicking’ it with Kenny” on FOX 8′s morning news show. Three winners will receive prizes of $40,000, $20,000 and $10,000.
