Brand Identity Guidelines
These guidelines were established by The Burton D. Morgan Foundation to create and maintain Brand Identity. Adhering to these guidelines will ensure consistency on all internal and external communications.
Name References
Written
The first written reference should appear as “The Burton D. Morgan Foundation.” For subsequent references, use “the Foundation.”
Spoken
Likewise, the first spoken reference should be, “The Burton D. Morgan Foundation.” Subsequent references should be, “the Foundation.”
Logo Type Usage
Clear Space
A minimum amount of clear space must always surround the logo. The minimum acceptable clear space is equal to the height of the cap “B” in Burton. A larger amount of clear space is preferred for optimal logo presentation.
Minimum Size
The minimum size at which the logo should be used is 0.5" tall.
Colors
PMS 072 Blue is the primary color of The Burton D. Morgan Foundation. The logo should be reproduced in this color, or the CMYK derivative for all color printed pieces.
The RGB and WEB color derivatives are provided for web and interactive design.

The Foundation’s logo should be reproduced in solid black for all black and white printed pieces.

Special approval is required to use the logo reversed out of a color.

Improper Logo Usage
Shown here are just a few examples of what not to do with The Burton D. Morgan Foundation logo. Always treat the logo with care and use only authorized electronic artwork.
