Opportunity for Teen Innovators
Young Entrepreneur Institute and Cleveland Leadership Center are teaming up to provide teens with the opportunity to participate in Teen Accelerate: Student Citizens Make Change. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to share their entrepreneurial ideas for creating positive community change in Northeast Ohio.
All high school students are invited to complete an online application that describes their civic idea by January 18, 2024.
Selected finalists will be connected with a coach to help prepare for the live Accelerate event in downtown Cleveland on February 22, 2024, where they will present their pitch.
Prizes:
- Winner earns $1,000, plus connection to a mentor from a partner organization to help them launch or expand their idea
- Runner-Up earns $500
- All finalists who pitch on Feb. 22 will win $250 (finalists must pitch in person to receive their award)
