Position Summary
This position is part of JumpStart’s Investing & Services team and supports tech and non-tech startup and growth services clients. In this capacity, the person works directly with the Investing and Services team, the collaborator organizations in the Northeast Ohio Entrepreneurial Services Program (NEO ESP), to serve a wide range of client companies, including high-potential tech clients, Impact Program clients, growth clients. Specifically, the Market Research Analyst serves as a resource for entrepreneurs as they conduct market research and interpret both primary and secondary data to formulate custom research deliverables. This involves applying both qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce relevant outcomes.

The Market Research Analyst will build upon current resources available to confirm each business’ product and target market assumptions – this includes a standardized methodology and templates and how they relate to startup planning approaches (e.g. Lean Start Up; Business Model Canvas). Must be able to quickly understand basic concepts and value propositions of technologies and innovations across multiple industries.
