Kent State University has a new job opening in its fast-growing entrepreneurship program. They are seeking a Manager of Operations for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (CEBI). This is a critical role in the continued growth of the curricular and non-curricular aspects of the entrepreneurship program at Kent State's College of Business.
The position presents an opportunity to manage and coordinate activities that support the entrepreneurship courses and programs (major & minor) and non-curricular activities and events of the CEBI.

Superior organizational and communications skills, both written and oral.
Bachelor’s degree is required with a Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Essential functions of the position:

Assist the Director and Chair of the Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department with planning and implementing of all CEBI programs and events

Manage the preparation of all budgets and provide monthly P&L statements and analysis of the results

Budget, help develop and monitor, and provide supervisory leadership to all student-run and student-initiated businesses

Lead consulting teams of students that are performing various projects for local businesses, including feasibility analysis, marketing plans, and business plans

Coordinate and support the activities of the EIRs and Community Based EIRs

Assist with policy review, coordination, and implementation

Provide support for the CEBI Advisory Board Chair and Advisors

Supervise Kent-based EIRs and student assistants in the CEBI office

Advise and assist the chair of the Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship in course planning and assessment of staffing needs for courses
