Grant Areas
Hudson Community

Burton D. Morgan and his family moved to Hudson in the late 1950s because Burt was starting a new business, Morgan Adhesives Co., in Stow and Mrs. Morgan´s ancestors were among the early Hudson settlers.

The Morgans have been dedicated to supporting projects in Hudson that contribute to the health and vibrancy of the community. The bandstand on the Green is just one example of an instance in which Burton D. Morgan and the foundation he started more than 40 years ago have changed the landscape in Hudson. The Burton D. Morgan Foundation is located in the heart of the city in the building on the Green that once housed the Hudson Library & Historical Society. The Foundation is proud to be part of the community and continues Mr. Morgan´s tradition of supporting worthy projects that enhance the quality of life in Hudson.

The Foundation supports a wide array of Hudson projects in the fields of arts and culture, education, and the civic arena, but also seeks to work with Hudson organizations in the fields of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in order to experiment with innovative ideas to advance the field.
