Entrepreneurs EDGE: EDGE Fellows Program
This two-month paid summer internship program enables talented entrepreneurial-minded students to conduct feasibility analyses on new business ideas submitted by CEOs and other executives from Northeast Ohio. The program supports new entrepreneurial ideas from successful business leaders, helps train and retain talented students in the region, and helps produce new business ventures that will benefit Northeast Ohio.

Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC)
In 2007, the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium was created by representatives of entrepreneurship programs at seven universities and colleges in Northeast Ohio (Ashland University, Baldwin-Wallace College, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, Kent State University, and The University of Akron). The purpose of EEC is to provide practical experiential and theoretical education to students in Northeast Ohio to prepare them to become entrepreneurs, create new ventures and jobs, and build wealth for the region.

Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC)
The Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC), formerly the National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (NCEC), was founded in 1996. The intent of the organization is to provide a coordinated vehicle through which participating members can collaborate and communicate on the specific issues and challenges confronting university-based entrepreneurship centers. The GCEC current membership totals 200 of these university-based entrepreneurship centers. In October of each year, a global conference is held on the campus of a GCEC member school.

Northeast Ohio Collegiate Entrepreneurship Program (NEOCEP)
Five Northeast Ohio liberal arts colleges are sharing more than $6.6 million to create a culture of entrepreneurship on their campuses. The Burton D. Morgan Foundation, in collaboration with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, Mo., awarded grants to the following institutions as part of NEOCEP: Baldwin-Wallace College, Hiram College, Lake Erie College, Oberlin College, and The College of Wooster. NEOCEP is part of the Kauffman Foundation's Kauffman Campuses Initiative Program. While programs at each college reflect individual campus cultures, many of the programs include components focused on student internships, new and modified courses integrating entrepreneurship themes, student ventures, connections to alumni and local entrepreneurs, business plan competitions, and entrepreneurship majors and minors. The goal is to spread the entrepreneurial mindset across the campus so that all students, regardless of major, can be exposed to entrepreneurship.

Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education: Entrepreneurial Internship Program (EIP)
Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (NOCHE) connects Northeast Ohio employers with area college students through its signature entrepreneurship internship program, EIP. Part of the program includes networking opportunities for students with area entrepreneurs and an employer workshop on hiring interns.
